I am just back in my hotel room from an evening in Berlin welcomed by several people from the last Radiant Mind course who travelled from Munich and Stuttgart to be here. And great to meet up with Joel Agee, who helped Helmut with translation in German and who knows Radiant Mind inside out as a coach. Someone in the audience said, “I get this, the state you are talking about, but what comes next? It isn’t spectacular.” I wonder if this really was the space of nondual awareness, because in nondual awareness, we aren’t thinking about what comes next. There is no comparison. We can’t compare awareness itself with anything. In one way this is truly spectacular, arriving at the point where there is no more searching is remarkable and at the same time it is natural. As they say in Zen, it is “ordinary mind.”—the mind in its natural state, completely as ease without any contrivance.
All the best,
Peter
